Candia Bruce is Director
of Working On It, a Management consultancy focusing
on Senior Management and customised HR solutions. In
this role, her objective is to educate, mediate, and
improve companies’ bottom lines by providing creative,
professional, and highly effective (and often grass-root
level) management solutions.
Candia's professional affiliations include being an
Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management;
she is a Clinical Member of the Australian Counselling
Association, and is also a member of Australian Dispute
Resolution Association. Candia has lectured in the subjects
of Business Ethics and Culture and Negotiation, and
in 2009 will lecture in a “Workplace Conflict”
subject in the Faculty of Law, Business and Creative
Arts at James Cook University of North Queensland.
She has the benefits of practical experience and theoretical
learning and application, and has always been in positions
requiring highly-developed communication and active
listening skills. Prior to establishing Working On It,
Candia worked in various Management roles in The United
Kingdom, The Sultanate of Oman and Australia.
Candia holds several qualifications, including Master
degrees in Business Administration with a Major in Dispute
Resolution, and in Counselling and Guidance. Candia
is also certified in EQ Training, is an Accredited Relationship
Counsellor and is currently completing a Master of Dispute
Resolution.
